This trip visits some truly amazing sites. View the quiver trees (Aloe dichotoma) that grow among the jungle of massive dolerite boulders. Have your camera ready as we explore the Giants Playground, formed 180 million years ago. The ghost town near Luderitz, known as Kolmanskop was once a thriving mining town, but was abandoned in 1956, and is now being reclaimed by the desert.
